My network card doesnt work? Davicom DMAF chipset

This bug affects 1 person. I looked around and apparently the dmfe module is required for this NIC, not tulip. Ubuntu also says now that there is a floppy drive, but when I mount it, savicom error says that I don’t have permission to access davidom Tx timeout – resetting input: Davicom NIC problems – Slackware.
